หลังมีการเปิดตัว Metal Gear Solid Delta Remake ไปแล้ว ทาง Konami ก็ได้คอนเฟิร์มในช่วงท้าย Trailer ว่า Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1 จะบุกแพลตฟอร์ม PlayStation 5 ในช่วงฤดูใบไม้ร่วงของปี 2023
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1 คือแพ็กเกจรวมเกม Metal Gear Solid ไตรภาค เช่น Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty และ Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater มาลงให้เล่นในเกมคอนโซลรุ่นล่าสุด
อย่างไรก็ตาม มีจุดสังเกตว่า MGS: Master Collection มีการกำกับเลข Vol.1 ด้วย จึงมีความเป็นไปได้ในอนาคต จะมีการวางจำหน่าย Collection Vol.2 ที่อาจประกอบไปด้วย Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Metal Gear Solid 4 และ Metal Gear Solid V
แน่นอนว่า Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1 ถูกสร้างขึ้น เพื่อเป็นน้ำจิ้มสำหรับเตรียมรอเล่น Metal Gear Solid Delta Remake ซึ่งเกมดังกล่าวยังไม่มีกำหนดการวางจำหน่ายที่ชัดเจน จนถึงตอนนั้น ถ้าหากมีข่าวสารเกมที่น่าสนใจ ทางทีมงาน GamingDose จะรายงานกันต่อไป
