AestheticGamer หรือ Dusk Golem สายข่าววงในเกมซีรีส์ Resident Evil ได้เผยข้อมูลใหม่ที่มีคนสอบถามทาง Twitter เกี่ยวกับการ Remake เกม Resident Evil ภาคใหม่ที่อาจจะกำลังอยู่ในการพัฒนาตอนนี้ โดยเขายืนยันว่า ในเวลานี้ตัวเกม Code Veronica Remake นั้นกำลังถูกพัฒนาไปได้ด้วยดี และน่าจะดีเทียบเท่ากับเกมภาค 4 Remake และทางทีมงานเองก็มั่นใจมาก ๆ ว่ามันจะไปได้สวยเหมือนกับภาคก่อน ๆ ที่ทำเอาไว้ด้วย ซึ่งภาค Code Veronica นั้นคือภาคที่ Clair กับ Chris Redfield เป็นตัวเอกและวางจำหน่ายบนเครื่อง Dreamcast ในปี 2000

Dusk Golem ให้ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมว่า สำหรับเกมภาค 5 เท่าที่เขาทราบในตอนนี้ Resident Evil 5 Remake ไม่ได้กำลังถูกพัฒนาในตอนนี้ และเขาคิดว่าทีมงานกำลังดูกระแสก่อนว่ามีคนเรียกร้องมามากแค่ไหน และอาจเกิดขึ้นได้ในอนาคต
