Typically, game bundles feature a popular title alongside the gaming system needed to enjoy it. However, Japanese fans of Resident Evil recently received an unexpected surprise thanks to a collaboration between e-commerce and talent agency Yume Group and Capcom.
They launched the exclusive “Terrifying Nightmare Set,” which offers either a PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch version of Resident Evil Requiem, paired with a home pull-up bar, all neatly packaged in a distinctive box.

Priced at 19,800 JPY (approximately $128 USD), this unique Resident Evil Requiem bundle sparked significant interest, selling out in under five hours and even coming with its own offbeat commercial.
Featuring Yume Group president Shigehiro Ishida, singer and co-host Yuri Hoshina, along with a special guest appearance by Koshi Nakanishi, the director of Resident Evil Requiem, the commercial showcases Yume Group’s signature flair for extravagant shopping videos.
Besides Ishida and Hoshina’s inclusion, an extended version of the commercial adopts the format of a traditional shopping channel infomercial. This longer video highlights Grace hanging upside down from a pull-up bar, directly referencing a memorable scene from the Resident Evil Requiem reveal trailer.

The concept of the Terrifying Nightmare Set is designed so that after an intense session of playing Resident Evil Requiem, you can unwind and relieve tension in your back and shoulders with the pull-up bar. If working out isn’t your thing, the pull-up bar also serves as a handy place to hang your clothes.
Thanks to the passionate fanbase of Resident Evil in Japan and their enthusiasm for gaming collectibles, all 50 pre-order sets sold out in under five hours. These exclusive sets are scheduled for delivery on February 27, coinciding with the launch of Resident Evil Requiem.
The highly anticipated Resident Evil Requiem will officially debut on February 27, 2026, across multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and Windows via Steam.
